So, the other day someone came to our door and it was our RS Compassionate Service Rep. She wanted to confirm that our apartment had signed up to feed one of the counsellors in the bishopric and his wife since they just had a baby. I do not recall signing up to do this. I rarely cook, and when I do, it is certainly not a well balanced meal that will feed a family. But since I was the only one home, I said "umm, I guess. Sure, we'll feed them." I just couldn't tell her no when SOMEONE already said yes. I finally deduced that the two roommates who had signed up to do this are both out of town for the week thus, I get to do it. I'm not really complaining about making a meal and giving it to the family that could really use the help. I'm more frustrated with my roommates. Whatever. I'm moving out in a few weeks.
So with the help of my sister we thought up a menu and proceeded to make it this morning. Ta-da! I made lasagna! Here you can see me assembling it:

I am trying to disperse an equal amount of ingredients over the surface of the now delicious dish. It takes great precision. And a minor amount of OCD.

Careful, I have a wet noodle and I'm not afraid to use it!
PS- I had no idea my hair was so frizzy until AFTER the pictures were taken. I feel bad for the other patrons at Macey's.
Anywhoo... I think it came out well, and I'm actually really excited to take them the food tonight. I'm just hoping that everyone else that signed up hasn't copped out and brought them a Stauffer's Lasagna.
