It's about time I post some pictures from the last few months! Enjoy!

Me and Becky are enjoying a drive through Auburn when I went to California.
So beautiful! We had fun taking a drive together.
Now, we have Cujo the beast dog chasing us out of Volcanoville (real place). (We drove as far as we could (note the dirt road). Her Toyota Corolla handled the dips rather well!)
Here you can see him urinating on the hillside as we tried to frantically back up. There was nowhere to turn around for awhile. So he just barked at us. A lot.
He's BIG. That is the hood of the car in the bottom of the picture. Thankfully, we came out unscathed. We also refrained from getting out of said car until we were far away. He sat at the end of the road and watched us leave. He is certainly doing what he was bred for. We decided his owners probably had more shotguns than teeth.

Our roommate Angie (in the patterned dress on the right) got her High School Diploma and we had a little party for her. She is now going to UVU!

This is dad's high tech cantilever for the engine. Now THAT is a mechanical engineer at his finest! :)

Here he is again! Sometime you should ask him, "what sound does a baby cow make?" The face comes complimentary to the accompanying sound effect.

(Sorry for the sideways) We went to the Manti Pioneer Pageant. It was good, but we had more fun playing together. PS- Manti is turkey Mecca. They make really good BBQ turkey. It's like the turkeys were born in the sauce. mmmm...

We stayed at a relative's revamped school bus for the night.

Seriously. This is their guest room; the husband and wife live in there home about 10 feet over. By the way, that is the street. Try to dress quickly!

Only a little busy. I call it organized clutter. But I'm getting anxious to move out, so most of my stuff is down now. Guess what I did with all that sticky tack?

If you guessed that I made an exact replica of a dice (die?) you'd be right!!! Well... almost exact.

Join the Conversation

Hello again! I thought I'd do a different sort of post today, mainly because of an article I read. I think the only people that read my blog are family or friends and all are LDS, so this may not be a big deal. In the July 2008 Ensign there is an article about using the "new media" of today to share the Gospel. We are encouraged to "join the conversation" that is ongoing about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and do what we can to share our testimonies and dispell any misconceptions. So I'm going to try and share what I know and have learned from study and discussions on my blog.

Maybe I'll talk about what I learned in church or whatever, but today I'll just say that I know Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are real and love us. I've especially come to learn this while I've been on my own and must rely on them for comfort, encouragement, and direction during transitions. Whether I get anwers to my prayers immediately or in due time I know that Heavenly Father is listening and cheering for us to succeed. I'm grateful for the relationship I am developing with Him and our Savior all the time and hope it continues to grow everyday. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

I hope you all are having a splendid Sabbath and find opportunities to joing the conversation as we try to follow our Heavenly Father and Christ's footsteps. Thanks!

Just checking in

Still alive.

Just lazy.

I promise I check other peoples' blogs, but I tend to ignore my own. If I had anything exciting to tell I would. Let's see... I bought some eye liner today (a good kind) but I don't know how to use it yet. (Although I have used some before to write messages to my roommate on my face.) That's about it for now! Eventually I'll get some pictures up that have been on my camera for a while now. Maybe I'll dedicate some more posts to my other "favorites". My favorite stores to be exact. There are three. oo oo! Maybe y'all could guess! Melissa and Nancy are not allowed to play. But seeing as they make up a significant portion of people who read my blog, this may be a short guessing game. :)
